Belay Project Team writes:
On three separate projects over a year, we used BOSS as our supplier to assist with people and furniture moves. The magnitude of the projects and the expectations was big but BOSS delivered. The goals set were never easy and sometimes unexpected but BOSS somehow always managed to deliver a quality product that met our customers’ expectations. Moving anything from safes to breakable items like glass tables was never a problem. BOSS understands service and, when needed, was willing to work into the early hours of the morning to complete tasks in set timelines. Transport of goods on short notice was easily taken care of and they planned everything on our behalf. BOSS staff we worked with always maintained a friendly and helpful attitude. They strived to give personal service and showed respect to our clients and us. They are proud and hardworking people and we enjoyed conquering challenges with them. The areas they work in are always clean and in order, the moves they attend to are done promptly and with care. We know that no job is too big or complicated for BOSS. We enjoy working with them and thank them for their efforts in helping us to succeed and deliver – VC Coetzee, managing director
An update from the project office, after the past weekend of staff relocation between floors nine and 10: allow me to thank everyone for their hard work and cooperation since we started with the relocation on Friday afternoon. We completed everything by Saturday afternoon. We moved the following successfully: staff, 84 desktops/PCs, 44 unused PCs to the storeroom, 40 printers, two fax machines plus all related furniture and boxes. I did a floor visit this morning with Alison to compile a snag list. There were three power issues and 10 telephone-related issues. I have addressed the power issues already. The telephone issues will be sorted out as soon as BCX has spoken to me – PF Marais, programme manager
The Department of Basic Education writes:
The Department of Basic Education occupied its new building at 222 Struben Street, Pretoria in February 2010 and BOSS Office Projects was contracted to move the department from its old buildings to the new building. The entire relocation project was managed by BOSS in a very professional and competent way and the process was completed on time and without any problems. BOSS prepared and trained officials of the department for the relocation long before the move, which ensured that everybody knew exactly what to expect and what to do in order to minimise disruption and avoid possible stumbling blocks. BOSS staff members were also well prepared for the specific circumstances and conditions that applied within the department, which enabled the department to continue with its normal business during the entire process. The department experienced BOSS as a very professional and competent company, more than able to handle projects such as this – PW Morkel, contract manager
First National Bank (FNB) writes:
I can honestly say I have never before had anybody speak so highly of a contractor. Both Gys and Gina could not stop complimenting the detailed and professional service they received thus far from Carrie-Anne. Truly impressive, these are senior managers, and we are talking high-level stuff here. All I can say is thank you and it seems you will now have your work cut out for you, as they will be spreading the word. From my side, along with the other 300 staff from Sage, I feel quite comfortable this move will be a breeze – Jason West-Evans, building/facilities manager
FNB Commercial writes:
This is just a quick mail to let you know that, despite the stress last week Tuesday, I just have to compliment you. If I had worked with your team before, I would not have been stressed at all last week over a little miscommunication. Every staff member on your team has been professional, organised and simply amazing. Jerry is a great mix of being approachable yet organised, and keeping a firm hand on things running smoothly. If I have to go through a move again, I will first resign. After handing in my resignation I will definitely recommend your team to the person who takes over my job – Rika Hudson, chief operating officer
WesBank writes:
After narrowing down the field to three finalists, we finally chose BOSS Office Projects to handle the largest move (2600 staff) our bank had undertaken. This was an inspired choice. One needs to bear in mind that this move was to be simultaneous with the FNB move of 1300 staff. The move needed to be completed over a period of 10 weeks and BOSS showed unbelievable professionalism throughout the planning and implementation period. They were totally involved during the planning period and allowed flexibility during the move period. All moves were during the evenings or over weekends and they were always spot on time, allowing our staff to be up and running by the following working day. No production time was lost throughout the move. Furthermore, what impressed us most was all their staff was available to us at all times before and during the move. We would have no hesitation in recommending them, in fact since the move a number of our subsidiaries have used them – Bobby Hains, project manager, Fairlands
South African Revenue Service (SARS) writes:
From my side the move was really smooth. Staff at BOSS was on hand to adjust and amend here and there as requested. All work was carried out with the greatest of ease. Petros is a gem - a big thank you to him. Gidjma was available to assist with all IT-related issues and there was relative peace from 11am on the 10th. Thank goodness for that! Hats off to all who contributed - I'm quite confident that the old telephone issues will be sorted out shortly. Thank you guys – Alison Hayes, acting BAM
